Editorial Policy
Sha Toolbox aims to publish practical tools and explanations that are useful, understandable, and clear about their limits.
Tool selection
A tool is added when it solves a specific problem, can be explained clearly, and does not require unnecessary personal information. The goal is to build useful calculators and guides, not a thin directory of unrelated links.
Calculation explanations
Calculator pages should describe what the inputs mean, what formula or model is being used, and what the result can reasonably support. When a calculation has limits, those limits should be stated in plain language.
Originality
Sha Toolbox does not aim to republish generic template content. Tool descriptions, examples, FAQs, and category pages are written around the specific tools and decisions the site supports.
Reused site structure is acceptable only when the page content changes with the tool. A calculator page should not be a copied shell with a different title; it needs a relevant example, limitations, related links, and wording that matches the decision being calculated.
Policy-safe wording
Pages should avoid misleading navigation, deceptive download-style controls, disguised advertising areas, promotional interaction prompts, or unsupported affiliation claims. Collectible odds content should use responsible probability education language instead of encouraging spending or promising outcomes.
AI assistance
AI tools may be used to draft outlines, improve wording, or check structure. Pages should still be reviewed for accuracy, clarity, usefulness, and policy risk before publication.
Corrections
If a formula explanation, tool description, external link, or policy statement needs correction, contact Sha Toolbox through the contact page. Corrections are prioritized when they affect user decisions or site trust.
A correction request is easier to review when it includes the exact URL, the sentence or result that appears wrong, and the reason it should be changed. Formula corrections should include the expected calculation if possible.
Advertising and commercial content
Future advertising, sponsored placements, or affiliate references should not interfere with tool usability or encourage misleading clicks. Any material commercial relationship should be disclosed where appropriate.
Advertising code should not be placed in a way that looks like a calculator button, result panel, navigation item, or required next step. Tool pages must remain usable when advertising is absent.
Methodology page
Formula assumptions and update practices are documented separately on the Methodology page.
